AFTERSCHOOL & YOUTH DEVELOPMENT CREDENTIAL
EARN YOUR AFTERSCHOOL AND YOUTH DEVELOPMENT CREDENTIAL
In partnership with Central Wyoming College, WYAA launched the Afterschool and Youth Development Credential as an online, 3-semester course series for professionals in the afterschool/out-of-school time (OST) field. No text books are required, and students can begin at any point in the 3-course cycle. Topics include:
- Child development
- Guidance and observation of school-aged children
- Human relations
- Working with families
- Professional growth
- Creating effective learning environments.
The credits earned from this credential are transferrable within WICHE and the University of Wyoming, Department of Family and Consumer Sciences.
Financial support from Wyoming Department of Workforce Services may be available to qualified individuals.

Partnerships in Afterschool Programs (3 credits)
