Open Minds Open Spaces: Reimagnie the Power of Afterschool

Afterschool professionals are working around-the-clock to support youth, families, and our staff. We are focused on safety and well-being, engaging learning, health and wellness, family supports and helping people get back to work. We pivoted in response to crisis. Now we reimagine what afterschool can and should be in a time of unknowns. We are flexible, resilient, nimble, clever and powerful.

In October we convene virtually to learn, collaborate, and connect together. Please join us on Friday, October 16 from 11:00am-6:30pm for Open Minds, Open Spaces, an exciting joint virtual conference. Registration is $50. Click here.

WYAA encourages organizations to attend as a group to maximize the experience. Registrations of three or more will receive a 20% discount. Contact Program Coordinator Kate Foster at katefoster@wycf.org or 307-335-9922 for the Promo Code.

Wyoming Nonprofit Conference: Elevator to Action!

The Wyoming Nonprofit Conference, presented by First Interstate Bank, was set to take place in Casper this summer. However, due to COVID-19 concerns the conference has been postponed, and rescheduled for August 2021.  The Wyoming Nonprofit Conference, a biennial conference hosted by the Wyoming Community Foundation (WYCF), will still feature top-notch speakers and sessions for those involved in the nonprofit community come August 2021.

“We feel incredibly fortunate that sponsors, speakers, and vendors have agreed to reschedule,” says Craig Showalter, President of WYCF. “This wouldn’t be possible without support from our sponsors.”  “We know how valuable it is for this sector to have access to quality resources, so it’s important to us we rescheduled the conference rather than host a virtual option,” says Showalter.

The Wyoming Nonprofit Conference brings together those working for the nonprofit community to learn and share best practices. The conference is always sure to re-energize the attendees with strategies and lessons that make a difference in Wyoming nonprofits. One of the main assets to the conference is the opportunity for its participants to engage in face-to-face connections, which are invaluable. Further details about the conference will be updated on WYCF’s website. Stay tuned by signing up for more e-mails from WYCF regarding conference updates here.

WYAA is proud to be a Priority Fund of the WYCF.
